The client

Mark Manderson founded Pacific Shores Recovery, an addiction and mental health treatment center in Newport Beach, California, and brings over 25 years of experience. His path began after losing a loved one to an overdose at a young age. His recovery framework — the 5 Foundational Freedoms, supported by the 4 Codes — combines trauma-informed therapy, neurobiological retraining and behavioral lifestyle coaching, with a family recovery program.

The goal

Families choosing a treatment center are making one of the most important decisions they'll face, and they research carefully. Mark wanted a clear, public account of what makes Pacific Shores different — long-term healing rather than short-term fixes — and of the team behind it.

What we did

We wrote the announcement around his personal reason for the work, the Pacific Shores model and its multidisciplinary team, and his goal of expanding the approach internationally. Mark approved it, and it was distributed as a press release, where it runs on Benzinga.

The result
